Stephen Curry is one of the most dominant players in NBA history, with 50 point games being a regular occurrence. A look at his career highlights shows how he has performed for long stretches of time.
The “steph curry 62 point game” is a game that has been played by Stephen Curry. It was the most points he had scored in a single game, and it was also his 50th point game of all time.
Wardell Stephen Curry, a 6’3 point guard, is one of the top scorers in this age. Curry has the ability to put points on the board like no other player in NBA history, earning him two regular-season MVP honors and three NBA titles.
Curry has accomplished a number of milestones over his career, including scoring 50 points or more ten times. This is the fourth-highest total among current players and the tenth-highest total in NBA history.
In celebration of Curry’s most recent 50-point game against the Atlanta Hawks, I rated the GOAT shooter’s three finest 50-point outings.
The 50-Point Games of Stephen Curry
3. In Madison Square Garden, he scored 54 points.
Curry went on one of the most famous performances in basketball history at Madison Square Garden in 2013. In a loss against Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks, he poured in 54 points.
You may be asking why a game that the Warriors lost is included on this list. It’s semi-related to the fact that it occurred on my birthday, but the true reason is because it was his first-ever 50-point game.
Several things occurred in this game, one of which was that he made a mind-boggling 11 triples. Then one of his most hilarious moments happened. Curry attempted to high-five teammate Draymond Green after scoring 49 points on a made three-pointer, but he mistakenly missed Green. It resulted in a hysterical expression on his teammate’s face.
It was one of the few things he missed in New York that night. He also accomplished it while wearing Nike sneakers. It happened before he joined Under Armour.
2. 62 points, a career best
Stephen Curry puts on the most spectacular display in basketball. He’s still dominating games as he reaches the conclusion of his peak. He set a new career best with 62 points against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers last season.
This game is ranked second because many people now believe Lillard is a better point guard than Curry. As a result, it was a game in which No. 30 made a statement. Curry had a rough start to the season, but this game set the tone for a great season. He led the NBA in scoring with 32.0 points per game, a career best.
It cemented Curry’s status as the league’s top point guard, and he made it clear that he didn’t like the snub. He stated he took the Jordan sobbing memes personally after viewing them. Curry is the epitome of the phrase “I’m not a murderer, but don’t push me.”
1. 50 points against the Hawks
Curry’s most recent 50-point performance on Monday night was my favorite. Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks were the opponents. This game was incredible since it took place against Young, who plays in a similar manner.
They both came out swinging in the first half, scoring over 20 points apiece. Curry scored 24 points and Young had 21. Curry began to distinguish himself from his protégé in the third quarter. He scored 18 points as the Warriors came back from a 15-point deficit to take control of the game.
This game took the top place on my list for two reasons. It was Curry’s first 50-point game of the 2021-22 season, and it was also my first time witnessing him do so live.
In his career, Curry has scored 50 points or more ten times, and these are my top three. Which of your 50-point games are your favorites?
