The “empire of sin mods” is a free precinct that has been released by the developers. It allows players to create their own custom Empire of Sin and play with friends or solo.
Empire of Sin’s first paid expansion, Make It Count, will be released next week, according to publisher Paradox Interactive and developer Romero Games. It will be complemented by the Precinct upgrade, which is the strategy game’s largest free post-launch content release ever.
In the person of Maxim Zelnick, Empire of Sin: Make It Count brings a new playable boss to its portrayal of 1920s Chicago. His Bolster the Ranks ability enables him to summon two reinforcements to his side during battle, and his Persuader submachine gun has an exceptional rate of fire, earning him the moniker “a boss who can cook the books just as well as he takes out the competitors.”
The Fixer is a new gangster profession capable of bribing their way out of certain combat scenarios while also using the Caltrops ability to disrupt enemy movement. Along with the renowned Persuader and Golden Gewehr 98, Empire of Sin: Make It Count introduces the MK VI Revolver, Coach Gun, STA 22, Lighting Carbine, and RSC M17 as new weaponry. There are also 20 new missions and 25 new events included in the bundle.
The Precinct update also adds a lot of material to the basic game for all owners. In an emailed news release, the developer explains it as follows:
The release date for Empire of Sin: Make It Count and the free Precinct update has been set for November 18 on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. The extension costs £11.39 GBP or the equivalent in your local currency.
